I am a self taught sculptor and work mainly through carving in stone and occasionally in wood. Some carvings are cast in ciment fondu and also in bronze by the lost wax casting method.

However it is the material and qualities of stone which draw me back to carving and the connection with the English school of direct carving of Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Frank Dobson etc. Having also lived and travelled in India, the visual arts and culture have been a profound influence on me.
